New Gear

I spent nearly the entire morning today melding and making new crafting gear that centered around control.  Found quite a bit of stuff, apron and earring were from GC seals, the rest was just made from scraps I had laying around on my retainer.

I think it looks pretty sweet, and I noticed that it definatly helps, I didn't go unstable once when I was trying to make my Vanya Robe and Astrolabe today.  /profit.

I guess it's a good thing I was so lucky on those items, because after that I decided to double meld my gear, went through a really bad streak and lost millions...but in the end I got all the gear I wanted so =P

Mask

Crash got a super creepy mask, and we were messing around the lighting effect trying to make me look scary, meh what do you think?

Like I said earlier, I've been work my butt off in the last month, got several new jobs to 50, including weaver, leather, goldsmithing, blacksmithing, woodworking, and one DoM job, black mage.

I was lucky enough to get mine both in the top one, it's very convenient, I also pray every night that they will be there when I wake up.  Sorry for the Naruto reference names, I really must have loved that anime.

Heads I lose, Tails...You Lose Too

Attempted a real AV run with the new LS, maybe you guessed from the title, it didn't go to well.  It was still fun though and I can't wait to try and beat this guy again.

Hover crAveft

Found a pretty sweet glitch in Grid today, I was trying to run up the ramp from the Inn when instead of running up it, I went through it...and from there I was able to run around the entire city, floating through the air, and getting inside buildings that were locked, lots of fun crazy stuff.

I haven't been able to duplicate this bug since, but I will keep trying, it was just too fun.

Crimson Earring

Went a little overboard buying hempen cloth.  Spent way way to much gil on this little earring, oh well got me a bucket load of seals and a pretty nice achievement.

Ifrit

Been doing so much Ifrit this past month, infact, I'm a self proclaimed expert on the fight.  I have nearly every weapon 4/7 with enough totems to buy 2 more weapons.  I don't know why I like the fight so much, I really get a kick out of it.

I keep forgetting to take screenshots and stuff when I'm in the fight and getting weapons but here's one with the knuckles at least.

Dart Frogs

Was working on getting alchemy to 45 for the last +Durability  ability, when I ran out of mats...Farming these little dart frogs was kind of slow but I had a semi decent time doing it and adventually did get my alchemy to 45 so there ya go.  Can you find the little baby frog, so cute?

Just a note if your gonna farm these, spearfishing in those cut and copy streams around Camp Nine Ivies is the way to go.

I Help You, You Help Me

Was trying to get my BLM AF from AV, so I was shouting for a tank.  Found one but he said he'd only help me if I helped him get his PLD AF first.  I felt a little taken advantage of that he expected me to give up an hour of my time fighting his bull shit PLD body NMs...when he in turn helped me for a total of 3 minutes to run through AV.

Did this fight with 8 people so Crash could get his last GC rank, super easy and fast.

Kismets Desire

So I've been a part of this LS for a while now, and I really love it.  All the people are really nice and it feels like a fun and safe place to hang out.  It's not a huge LS and no one really plans events or anything, it's mostly just a social thing.

I think I've been dubbed the repair man for the LS, and that's pretty cool, I like fixing peoples stuff up.  So we've done a few things together like Ifrits, Garudas, and AVs.  Hopefully we'll get our current members better gear and more experience so we can start winning those events I just listed lol.

Not Enough Maintenance

Been almost an entire month since I last blogged, sorry for the delay to my one follower but I usually only do this during game down time.  I have a ton more pictures to post, just been really super busy crafting and hanging out with new LS(Kismets Desire), oh and Ifrit, lots and lots of Ifrit.

Anyway my friend said he wouldn't share his google docs with me unless I posted on my blog, so...more to come soon I promise.

United We Fail

Had a horrible pick up group today for the quest united we stand.  I had high hopes at the start, everyone gathered pretty quickly and we didn't have to wait on anyone.  But it pretty much went to hell from there, people running around and aggroing stuff, wiping the party, dc'ing.  It took nearly 2 hours to get to the boss fight, something that took 10 min tops the first time I did this.

If I was smart I would have just left, I knew before we even started the boss fight that it wouldn't go well.  We wiped so fast it wasn't even funny.  It was time for maintence anyway so I cut my losses and homepointed.

I am not looking forward to doing that fight again, already failed a few times, it just sucks...at first I thought the 5k seal reward was worth it, now, not so much.

Hamlet

So I finally got into hamlet, had so much fun doing with this really cool LS.  They used vent which made it really easy.  I forgot to take a screenshot doing with them, but I got one of this pick up group that sucked worse then words.  We did it twice and didn't even come close to beating it...I think I got spoiled with the other group.

Kweh?!

Did some chocobo escort quests today, so awesome, I can't believe I never did this before now.  It is such a great way to make GC seals, along with a nice little anima boost.  I will definitely be doing a lot more of this.

Alliance

Did some new questing today, a lot of running around trying to get all the 3 nations to team up and fight the bad guys.  Still haven't finished it yet though, need a full party to do that, but got all the foot work out of the way.  It was kind of cool to see the "Presidents Room" in each nation though.
